Boil Water Advisory Issued for Benito

Benito has experienced a power outage. The backup at the water plant did start, but pressure in the water system dropped below 20psi during the switch over. This means there is a small risk of contaminated water having back fed into our pipes. As a result, a boil water advisory is now in effect for users of the Benito water system.

Typically, we are able to switch to backup without this happening. We know it’s inconvenient to everyone when an advisory has to be issued. Sorry!
